Hi there, I'm Stacey!

As a mental health professional with over a decade of experience working with individuals aged 13 and above, I am committed to supporting you on your emotional journey. My goal is to provide a therapeutic environment that suits your unique needs and helps you reach your desired emotional destination.

My approach

My approach to therapy is centered around you and where you wish to go emotionally. I specialize in helping clients process life transitions, strengthen couples' communication, come to terms with new medical diagnoses, and work through thoughts and feelings that have become barriers to being their best selves. I draw upon modalities such as Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered therapy, Solution-Focused techniques, Reality Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to tailor my approach to your specific situation and goals.

My focus

I work with individuals and couples who are navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, chronic pain, parenting difficulties, family conflict, women's issues, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, life transitions, marital/premarital matters, relationship issues, stress, and depression. My focus is on creating a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

My communication style

You can expect me to be an attentive, empathetic listener who strives to understand your unique perspective. I believe in the power of open, honest communication and collaborative problem-solving. My communication style is direct yet compassionate, and I aim to provide a supportive environment where you feel heard, validated, and empowered to make positive changes in your life.

My journey to mental healthcare

I began my journey in mental healthcare after earning my Master of Arts degree from Lindenwood College in Saint Charles, Missouri. From October 2011 to October 2014, I completed my clinical hours for licensure under the supervision of Danielle Hannebique in Florissant, Missouri. My desire to help others navigate life's challenges and achieve emotional well-being has been the driving force behind my career in mental health.

My goals for you

My primary goal is to help you develop the insights, skills, and strategies needed to overcome obstacles, improve your relationships, and enhance your overall quality of life. I strive to create a therapeutic partnership built on trust, respect, and collaboration, where you feel supported and empowered to make lasting, positive changes.

My first session with you

During our first session, we will focus on getting to know one another and establishing a strong therapeutic relationship. I will take the time to listen to your story, understand your current challenges, and learn about your goals for therapy. Together, we will begin to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses your unique needs and sets the stage for your journey toward emotional well-being.
