Hello! I’m Taylor Rodriguez and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I believe that therapy can help ease the emotional burdens that we may carry. My goal is to provide a safe place for clients to express the emotions that are often kept bottled up inside.
My approach
With a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach, I strive to help clients see qualities in themselves that they struggle to see on their own. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
My focus
I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and stages of life who might struggle with depression, anxiety, or post-traumatic stress disorder. I strive to create a calm, laid-back, and safe environment for my clients. I am a very easygoing, understanding, and gentle person.
My journey to mental healthcare
As a child, I tragically lost my father in a car accident. During my own journey to healing, I felt a deep desire to help others in the same way. I know what it is like to endure loss, but I also know what it is like to find great comfort and healing again. I want to help you do the same.
My first session with you
During our first session, I will ask lots of questions so that I can better understand you and your situation. This also helps me help you! I understand that there are things that may be painful to share, but please know that you are safe here. After these questions, we will work together to set goals and create a plan on how we will achieve them.
