Hi there, I'm Jeremy!

In my practice I'm passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges and cultivate stronger, healthier relationships. I believe that the therapeutic journey is a deeply personal and transformative experience. I bring ten years of experience and expertise to my practice. But more than that, I bring empathy, understanding, and a genuine desire to help you create positive change in your life and relationships.

My approach

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe in the power of collaboration and partnership in the therapeutic process. I view therapy as a journey that we embark on together, with you as the expert on your own life. My role is to provide guidance, support, and a safe space for exploration and growth. I approach therapy from a strengths-based perspective, focusing on your existing strengths, resources, and resilience. Together, we identify your goals and aspirations, and we work towards solutions that empower you to overcome challenges and create positive change in your life Drawing from my training in marriage and family therapy, I take a systemic approach to therapy, considering the interconnectedness of individuals within the context of their relationships and family dynamics. I understand that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by our social and relational environments, and I work to address these dynamics in therapy. I integrate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions into my practice, tailoring my approach to meet your unique needs and preferences. Whether it's solution-focused therapy, Cognitive behavioral techniques or EMDR interventions, I draw from a range of modalities to support your growth and well-being. I recognize the importance of cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in therapy. I strive to create a welcoming and affirming space where individuals from diverse backgrounds feel valued, respected, and understood. I honor the unique identities, experiences, and perspectives of each client, and I work to ensure that therapy is culturally responsive and relevant. My therapeutic style is rooted in a belief in human potential and resilience. I aim to help you tap into your inner strengths and resources, build coping skills, and develop a greater sense of self-awareness and empowerment. Together, we explore opportunities for growth, healing, and personal transformation.

My focus

I work with individuals, couples, and families. My areas of work include addiction, alcohol use, anxiety, behavioral issues, coping skills, depression, drug abuse, dual diagnosis, family conflict, grief, infidelity, job stress, men's issues, relapse prevention, relationship issues, self-esteem, sports performance, stress, substance use, and marital/pre-marital issues. The areas of work that I specialize in are working with men’s mental health and working with athletes and mental health. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have a deep appreciation for the diverse experiences and challenges that men encounter in today's world. I recognize that societal expectations and traditional notions of masculinity can often create barriers to seeking help and expressing emotions. Through therapy, men can develop greater self-compassion, emotional intelligence, and a deeper connection to themselves and others. As an LMFT, I specialize in working with athletes to address the unique psychological and emotional challenges they encounter in their athletic careers. I believe that optimal athletic performance is not just about physical strength and skill but also about mental resilience and emotional well-being. Athletes often face immense pressure to perform at their best while juggling demanding training schedules, injuries, and personal relationships. Through therapy, I help athletes develop coping strategies, manage performance anxiety, and cultivate a healthy work-life balance, allowing them to thrive both on and off the field. Whether you're a man navigating the complexities of modern masculinity or an athlete striving to reach your full potential, I provide a confidential and non-judgmental space where you can explore your concerns and work towards your goals. Together, we'll embark on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and empowerment.

My communication style

Your comfort and confidentiality are my top priorities. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly and honestly. Together, we'll work towards building healthier communication patterns, resolving conflicts, and fostering greater connection and intimacy in your relationships.

My goals for you

I believe therapy offers a space for healing emotional wounds, processing difficult emotions, and building resilience. Therapy can guide clients through the process of healing from past traumas, coping with life transitions, and developing strategies for managing stress and anxiety. Additionally, therapy can facilitate personal growth and self-discovery, empowering clients to live more fulfilling, intentional and authentic lives. Whether you're struggling with relationship issues, facing a major life transition, or simply seeking support and guidance, I'm here to help. Take the first step towards a brighter, more fulfilling future by reaching out to schedule a consultation. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey towards healing and growth.

My first session with you

In our first session, I will focus on getting to know you, understanding your background and what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss your goals and how we can work together to achieve them. You can expect me to listen closely, ask questions to gain clarity, and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship with you.
