Congratulations, you have taken the first step, and I am honored to work with you. Each experience/event is a chapter in your life. No one experience defines who you are or will become. You are the author of your own story, so I will not tell you what to do. Instead, I will help you determine what you want the next chapter in your life to look like and help you get there.
My approach
I provide a relaxed environment, using a collaborative and supportive approach. Using a cognitive behavioral approach, we can discover together what is keeping you from moving forward in your life. I can provide you with some tools and coping strategies to empower you and contribute to feeling more optimistic and hopeful about your future.
My focus
I am willing to see individuals, families, and couples. My specialties include anxiety, depression, divorce, family conflict, grief, parenting, relationship issues, self-esteem, sexual abuse, stress, coping skills, and LGBTQIA+ related issues.
My communication style
I believe in open, collaborative communication. I listen carefully to understand your unique perspective and experiences. Together, we'll explore your thoughts and feelings in a supportive, non-judgmental space. I'm here to guide you with empathy and respect as you write the next chapter of your story.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have had the pleasure of seeing people grow and change for approximately 23 years now. From August 1994 to July 1998, I completed my clinical hours for licensure at The August Center located at 1370 Brea Blvd., Suite 144, Fullerton, CA. 92835.
My goals for you
I know that life can be scary, but you are not alone in your journey. One step at a time, my goal is to help you move forward in your life and feel more optimistic and hopeful about your future.
