I've had a really good time talking with Jin and have learned a lot of things about myself. She's a great listener, and I like the fact that she explains things in both emotional terms and biological. I've learned a lot in the past 6 months.
VERIFIED PATIENT TESTIMONIAL

Hi there, I'm Jinu!

I work with a wide range of people and specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and distressful life transitions. I believe that overall wellness comes from creating a life that feels good on the inside rather than one that appears good from the outside. The wider the gap, the greater the emotional pain.

My focus

I work extensively with adolescents and adults dealing with unhealthy self-perceptions, poor self-esteem, self-sabotaging habits, dysfunctional relationship patterns, and cultural identity crises. I help clients navigate these difficult periods and build skills to establish a more positive view of themselves and a more hopeful outlook on life.

My approach

My approach is client-centered because one size does not fit all. I tailor therapy to each person's specific needs and most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I am also certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for clients interested in addressing unresolved trauma.
