I am Rodolfo Zuniga, a bilingual and bicultural psychotherapist with over 24 years of experience working with individuals exposed to severe trauma, life transitions, depression, and anxiety. I work both in Spanish and English (with Spanish accent). My extensive training and certifications span Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities, Certified Domestic Facilitator for both victims and perpetrators, as well as Certified Programs in Children, Adolescents, and Family Psychoanalysis.
My approach
My therapeutic approach is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and an eclectic blend of modalities tailored to each individual's unique needs. I draw upon my specialized training in areas such as ethical issues in trauma, acculturation, Life transitions, sexual abuse, cultural competency with the LGBTQ population, HIV/AIDS, and grief and loss.
My focus
I work with individuals focusing on a wide range of issues including ADHD, anger management, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, life transitions, parenting, self-esteem, sexual abuse, stress, racial identity, and panic attacks. My bilingual skills in Spanish allow me to serve a diverse clientele.

My communication style is warm, empathetic, and direct. I create a safe space for open dialogue, actively listening to understand your unique experiences and perspectives. Drawing upon my multicultural background, I adapt my approach to resonate with your individual needs.

This initial meeting serves as an opportunity for us to establish a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust, empathy, and collaboration, setting the foundation for your journey toward healing and personal growth.
