Our life experiences inform who we are, what we believe, and how we act. From our early years through today, the filter we see life through informs our well-being. Life is an inward journey, your struggles are your access to your strengths, and it's the pathway into your inner true world. By fine-tuning your lens, you learn the truth of who you really are. Therapy is about learning ways for your inner world to become in harmony with your outer world.
My approach
My approach to therapy is direct, attentive, and engaging. I strongly believe in the collaborative nature of therapy. I use several different techniques that meet your needs and help guide you on your path.
My focus
I work with individuals and couples looking to grow and experience inner satisfaction. My specialties are working with teenagers through older individuals who are willing to be honest and vulnerable with themselves. This includes someone in a transitional stage of life, the aging process, anxiety, career counseling, coping skills, cultural stress, depression, job stress, LGBTQIA+ issues, life coaching, life transitions, men's issues, mood disorders, issues related to older adults, relationship issues, self-esteem, sexual orientation, spirituality, and stress.
My communication style
My role is to help you understand your true self and help you identify where you are not living consistent with that in your outer world. A productive and successful therapeutic relationship is based on chemistry and fit between a client and therapist. I am your guide as you are mine.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey started in a familiar place, feeling unhappy. After several years of therapy, I went on to earn my Master's Degree in Social Work. After completing my clinical hours I worked with others in multiple organizational settings leading to private practice today.
My goals for you
By identifying and removing your barriers, you become one with your essence. My goal is for life's challenges to begin to fade allowing you to feel that inner satisfaction we all have.
My first session with you
In our first session, I aim to learn about you, your life experiences, and what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your goals and how my approach can best support you on your journey of personal growth and well-being.
