As a Collaborative Counseling Professional, my belief is that anyone seeking counseling should be treated with respect, dignity, and genuine care while highlighting strengths. My goal is for you to gain skills and empowering choices that improve your well-being, and relationships and to overcome challenges.
My focus
I am willing to see individuals, families, couples, minors (ages 13-17), and preteens (ages 8-12). My specialties include anxiety, behavioral issues, bipolar disorder, career counseling, depression, divorce, coping skills, family conflict, dual diagnosis, grief, oppositional defiance, life coaching, life transitions, relationship issues, self esteem, stress, parenting, spirituality, trauma and PTSD, substance use, women's issues, and LGBTQIA+.

My style is collaborative - I'm here to listen without judgment, offer insights and guidance, and empower you to find your own path forward. Through our conversations, we'll work together to help you gain clarity, build on your strengths, and make positive changes.
My journey to mental healthcare
My name is Sheila Woods, and I have been in the counseling field for 10 years. I hold a BA in Psychology and an MA in Community Counseling. I am board certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NCC). I also have extensive training in Individual and Family Counselling.
