With a first degree in Adult Education and following up with a master's degree in Social Work, I have had the opportunity of learning about human behaviors as it relates to our thoughts and feelings, and inadvertently our lives. I like to describe a therapy session as a situation where I, the therapist, am a copilot to my client, who is the pilot/captain and takes on leadership in the course of our journey. As a copilot, I have the maps and directions. I am here to support my clients in making the best decisions and walking the path to achieving their goals.
My approach
As much as I have expertise and love for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I do also believe in an eclectic approach to therapy, as I believe that no 2 situation is exactly the same. Just like life, there is no template for the issues that we may face in life, and the solutions are sorted based on what we may be facing.
My focus
As long as you want it, you and I can achieve it. I look forward to anyone who has made the decision to seek help, and also those that may be in doubt or unsure as to what they need or what worries/concerns them. Let's set those goals together. Let's identify those problems, and walk the path to achieving your dreams while living stress-free.
My communication style
When we listen actively and provide empathic responses, we are able to not only understand our clients better but also be able to communicate to them that we hear them and are on their side in finding solutions to their concerns. I focus on using these skills to achieve the best possible results with clients.
My goals for you
Success starts when you make a decision to seek help through therapy. Every session attended is a step closer to achieving goals and getting to where you need to be. Every step and every minute counts...
My first session with you
The first sessions are great for introductions. I want to get to know you and want you to know me. I want us to communicate and get an insight into what this journey may look like for us.
