My name is Rachel Bythrow and I am a licensed MSW in the state of Michigan. It can feel overwhelming trying to get through life's struggles on our own. I am here to help empower you to develop positive coping strategies. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
My approach
The theoretical approaches I use most often are Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy.

I have experience working with adults, women, and clients who have communication issues in their relationships. I am passionate about helping my clients navigate stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & coping with grief and loss.

My journey to mental healthcare
I have always been naturally drawn to volunteering and helping others. I enjoy seeing others being their best version of themselves.

My first session with you
In our first session we will spend time exploring how you have felt recently, and I will be asking you questions to better understand some of why you may be feeling this way. The first session is about us building an initial connection and helping. me get a sense of where we should go from there.
