Not currently accepting patients

Hi there, I'm Bridget!

I am a licensed psychologist currently seeing patients in North Carolina. I graduated with my degree in Master of Science in Counseling Psychology in 2009, and I earned my doctorate from the APA-accredited Clinical Psychology program at Adler University in 2016. Although I am trained as a generalist practitioner, I am drawn to working with trauma survivors and have sought opportunities to enhance my trauma training, including EMDR. I also specialize in working with that suffering loss and grief, substance abuse, identity development, interpersonal relationships (including interpersonal violence), and maternal mental wellness. My approach to therapy is informed by Adlerian and Relational Constructivist Theories, which understand an individual’s experience of the world based on their subjective and personal perception of self, others, and the world. I believe in using the therapeutic relationship to focus on the individual’s strengths and assets to empower clients with the tools to live emotionally healthy and safe lifestyles. I strive to facilitate a trusting atmosphere through which to empower, inspire, and challenge. I bring a compassionate and curious approach to my work to meet clients’ needs effectively. I work with adults (18+). Together we will explore aspects of your life - the thoughts, beliefs, and feelings - creating conflict and challenges.
