My approach to therapy is Nonjudgemental, Client-Centered, and Strengths-Based. I am experienced in working with individuals, couples, and families with mental health, behavioral, relational, and marital concerns.
My approach
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker certified by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapy Board. I received my training working with children and families at Starting Point and International Service Center in Cleveland. Following graduation, I worked at The Center for Families and Children and then at Firelands Regional Medical Center as a mental health therapist providing counseling to individuals, families, and couples. I have received extensive training and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of mental health and behavioral issues using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Systematic Desensitization/Graduated Exposure Therapy, and Gottman Couples Therapy.

My first session with you
I am a good listener to make sure my clients are feeling being understood. My clients used to tell me that I am calming and have a good sense of humor to help them feel relaxed during the first session.
