Do you often ask yourself what is my life's purpose, is and struggle with emptiness each day? Are you struggling to make life decisions amid feelings of uncertainty, that you are always going to make a wrong decision? Do you question your current relationships, but struggle with relational patterns such as manipulations, attachment issues, co-dependency, problems setting boundaries, narcissism-controlled environments, and emotional abuse? My name is Christina White, Clinical Social Worker, and I understand. I look forward to working with you to find your freedom and fulfillment in life you have been searching for.
My approach
I have been trained and practiced in various modes of treatment styles, such as CBT and Psychodynamic. Not everyone is the same and after meeting and having a conversation, I can suggest the best therapy approaches to use.
My focus
I love working with young adults, and individuals struggling with relationship issues, narcissistic abuse relationships, transition and life-changing issues, co-dependency, low self-esteem, and feelings of unfulfillment in life.
My communication style
I work from an emphatic, warm, supporting, and empowering stance.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have always had a heart for helping others. I have over 23 years in working with children and adults with disabilities, individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues, families that have experienced domestic violence or communication issues. I bring all these years of experience into my therapy, which helps me understand and empathize with a wide variety of issues. Being a therapist helps me use my past experiences in a great way.
My goals for you
I work with the client to develop their own goals and how they want to work towards them. I am a guide to help them develop these.
My first session with you
I want to work with where you are. I do believe that our past is what shapes us into who we are today. I will spend some time to get to know you and what you want to work on or talk about.
