Phyllis Cephas is licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. Phyllis received a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She has work experience as an inpatient and outpatient therapist for children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in Relationship issues and Stress Management. She is an Anger Management Trainer-Specialist. Before her career change, Phyllis worked as a Corporate Paralegal and writer. Relationships can be intriguing, insightful, and meaningful. Relationships for some people can also be destructive, miserable, and toxic. Relationships have sacrifice and purposeful work and can add to or take from quality living. Phyllis can teach, help, and facilitate the process of modifying negative thinking/behavior patterns, enrich relationships and enhance stress management with strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
