My name is Trae Warren, I am an LPC and I help patients identify and explore the feelings, thoughts, and behaviors contributing to their struggles with the goal of reduced symptoms and distress and improved coping and overall functioning in work, school, and relationships.
My approach
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical (DBT), Complicated Grief Therapy (CGT), Mindfulness-Based, Person-Centered, Schema Therapy, Solution Focused, and Strength-Based therapies during therapies.
My focus
I am open to working with all groups, primarily my work is with men, couples, and teens.
My communication style
I like to keep our meeting jovial and conversational allowing the talk to flow naturally towards goals.
My journey to mental healthcare
I come from a family background in the medical field. My dad is a doctor and my mom is a nurse. I also married a nurse. Their tutelage and my desire to help others through challenging moments guided my decision to become a therapist.
My goals for you
Goal setting is a personal journey based on what the client feels is important to address. I will make suggestions, but ultimately it is for you to decide what matters.
My first session with you
During the 1st session, we will discuss the reasons for therapy, what you hope to accomplish, and light processing.
