I'm a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I believe that the client is the expert on her/his/their story and has many strengths that will assist in overcoming challenges. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower clients in that journey. Together we can work on adjustment to change, stress reduction, goal setting, and motivation; while navigating a path toward personal growth, self-care, and overall well-being.
My approach
In my approach, I focus on the individual's strengths to achieve a healthy outlook and well-being. Through empowerment, I promote my client's talents, gifts, and skills as we work to explore further how the individual can apply these throughout their life experience. I have had success with the following disorders Family issues and Caregiver challenges, Bipolar, PTSD, Anxiety, Stress, Depression, ADHD, Codependency, Commitment Issues, Communication Problems, Control Issues, Borderline Personality Disorder, Dependent Personality, other Personality and Mood Disorders...
My focus
My goal is to help individuals, couples, and families be free of emotional pain, able to live life on life's terms, and find meaning in school/work, friendships, spirituality, family, and all other life aspects.
My communication style
I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate. In my approach, clients can feel free to set the tone for when and how much they want to share during the session. However, if clients need direction, I'm happy to provide a caring and gentle directive.
