Hello, my name is Paige Schwartz, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work and Addictions. I have worked in my field for over 25 years. I am nonjudgemental, compassionate, and a great listener. I have extensive training in working with OCD, Self Esteem, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Addictions, Relationship issues, and so much more. I stay abreast of new evidence-based treatments and continue to stay active in the learning process.
My approach
I approach therapy with evidenced-based care, and I am well-versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I utilize an eclectic approach because there is not a one size fits all modality. It's essential to develop an individual plan of care.
My focus
I enjoy working with clients that are open and receptive to positive change. Change can be uncomfortable and scary, but it is in change that we grow.
My communication style
I am a great listener, and I am open to feedback on the ways I can best support you. At the same time, I take an active approach and strive to promote positive engagement. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I view therapy as a collaborative process where you are the expert in your life and experiences, and I can help you to figure out where you want to go and how to get there.
My journey to mental healthcare
I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a therapist. I am curious and patient, and I believe you are the expert in your life and experiences. I would be honored and look forward to assisting you on your journey.
My goals for you
I am committed to developing a plan to help my clients achieve the goals they establish in treatment. Successful care and progress are measured by self-report and a decrease in the manifestation of symptoms.
My first session with you
The first session is an opportunity for my clients to tell me what brought them to therapy, to ask questions, and for me to get to know them. You can expect to receive quality care, compassion, and a nonjudgemental stance.
