I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor licensed in the state of Florida. I have a plethora of experience working with various populations ranging from Teens to Adults, dealing with issues such as Substance use, Anxiety, Depression, Relationship issues, LGBTQ, homelessness, Bipolar depression, Personality disorders, and Trauma such as sexual and physical abuse.
My approach
My Counseling style is client-centered, utilizing CBT, DBT, ACT, Psychoeducational, and Psychodynamic therapy.
My focus
I typically work with adults ages 18 and older dealing with issues such as Substance use, Anxiety, Depression, Relationship issues, LGBTQ, homelessness, Bipolar depression, Personality disorders, and Trauma such as sexual and physical abuse.
My communication style
I believe we are all unique individuals living through different experiences. My goal is to help you navigate through the darkness to help you live the life you want, acquiring the coping skills and tools needed. My journey to mental healthcare
Being born and raised in NYC, I went to performing art schools and wanted to be an actress and playwright originally. It wasn't until college, where I double majored in psychology and Human Services that I fell in love with the way the mind works. I would later move to FL and graduate with my Master's in Clinical Counseling and psychology. From then on it's been a beautiful journey, allowing me to become licensed and gain experience working in Schools, Rehabs, Psychiatric Hospitals, and currently outpatient therapy.
