My name is Vicki Marcum. I am a licensed clinical social worker with clinical experience with adults, children, and families. I do not fix or change people. I help people explore their options and determine what they would like to do differently. You are in charge of your therapy!
My approach
I am initially client-centered. I use a variety of tools, including art, music, literature, and play therapy techniques, to help people process their feelings and thoughts. We do more than talk!
My focus
I work with women and men addressing work, life or family, parenting, behavioral or relationship issues with children, depression, anxiety, grief issues, or trauma. My clinical experience is across all domains, inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, and private practice settings.
My communication style
I am focused on making you feel comfortable and relaxed and leaving an appointment feeling better than when you came in or with a plan on how to improve it.
