My name is Heather Mauro and I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a perinatal mental health certification. I support adults as they navigate role changes to live a more fulfilling, successful, and joyful life.

I hope to create an atmosphere of warmth and the ability to grow. I am caring and supportive of your therapy goals while utilizing humor and real-life examples to help clients identify areas for growth.
My journey to mental healthcare
I often say that I don’t simply work as a social worker, I AM a social worker. I wholeheartedly believe that all people are worthy of having a fulfilling and happy life. I am honored to walk alongside people on this journey. I am here to celebrate your wins and be with you during losses.
My goals for you
Goal setting is done collaboratively through prioritizing needs and wants. As there is no finish line in life, goals offer change to the client.
My first session with you
During our first session, I want to get to know you and I hope you feel comfortable speaking with me. I’ll ask about your family, your life, and what you hope to get from therapy. I’ll explain what you can expect and let you set the pace. I hope by the end of our first session you feel comfortable and empowered to continue your journey.
