Hello, I'm Roxana Kennedy, a dually licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Social Worker in Ohio. With 11 years of experience in mental and behavioral health, I have extensive knowledge in treating mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related stress, and substance abuse. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients in a kind, comforting, and non-judgmental environment.

My treatment approach revolves around the unique needs of each individual client. I collaborate with you to develop personalized goals and treatment plans, drawing from my training in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Client-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Mindfulness techniques for emotional regulation. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I also have extensive experience working with couples and families.

I work with individuals aged 13 and up, specializing in a wide range of issues including addiction, alcohol use, anger management, borderline personality, anxiety, coping skills, cultural stress, depression, divorce, drug abuse, dual diagnosis, grief, family conflict, relationship issues, infidelity, job stress, panic attacks, personality disorders, women's issues, weight loss, marital/pre-marital concerns, and domestic violence.

My journey to mental healthcare
I began my journey in mental healthcare as an outpatient therapist in a community mental health setting. This experience ignited my passion for helping others navigate life's challenges and fostered my dedication to providing personalized, evidence-based care.

My first session with you

This initial meeting allows us to establish a foundation of trust and determine how best to proceed with your individualized treatment plan.
