My journey to mental healthcare

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I had been a registered nurse working in mental health for over forty years. Mental health is my passion. I desire to decrease the stigma of mental health and advocate for equity in mental health services. Mental health should be treated as any illness, such as diabetes or hypertension.

My goals for you

My practice integrates both medication management and therapeutic interventions, aiming to balance pharmacological treatments with holistic strategies that support overall well-being. I am committed to staying current with the latest research and best practices in mental health to provide the highest quality care.

Our first session

During our first session, I will listen to your history and ask pertinent questions to ensure I have a clear understanding. We'll discuss what goals you'd like to initially focus on and develop a treatment plan together. The goal is to develop a therapeutic and trusting relationship, working collaboratively.
