We get acquainted during the first session as you share your goals for therapy. I let you know the plans we will utilize told help reach the goals. I extend Virtual/Telehealth counseling across the state of Alabama via telephone or computer as you are in the comfort of your home or a place of privacy.
My focus
I work with adolescents and adults who are managing stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship issues. I use the client-centered approach with theoretical and theological skills (if desired). This helps most clients reach their goals to improve relational, mental, spiritual, and emotional goals within 6-10 sessions.
My approach
I do active listening and use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you identify and untwist negative thought patterns. This approach is hands-on and gives you tools to help you feel more in control of your feelings and behavior.
