My focus

I primarily work with adults and specialize in anxiety, depression, stress management, and bipolar disorder. I am also very comfortable working with those experiencing a mental health crisis.

My approach

I am an eclectic practitioner and use cognitive behavioral, existential, and client-centered therapy as my primary but not exclusive theoretical approaches.

My communication style

I love to use humor, informality, and general relationship-building during sessions. I want you to feel comfortable. I hope that my clients feel as excited about positive change as I do!

My journey to mental healthcare

I have never felt that my life had any other trajectory than being a helping professional. My mother is a retired counseling professor, and she began teaching me about psychology from an early age. I have always found the field fascinating!

I think it is an absolute necessity to partner with my clients to determine reachable goals and to help you begin to build confidence in your own ability to succeed.
