Congratulations on beginning your therapy journey! My core belief is that you have the skills, abilities, and strengths to reach your goals and overcome any problem you're experiencing. These difficulties serve a purpose in helping you develop into the person you want to become. My role is to provide support and guidance along that journey.
My focus
I specialize in women's issues, particularly trauma including sexual abuse, assault, sex trafficking, and domestic violence. I also work with life transitions such as pregnancy, perinatal and postpartum concerns, parenting, divorce, substance abuse, and severe mental illness.
My approach
Everyone is an individual, so there's no one approach that works for everyone. I pride myself on being genuine and utilizing methods that are most effective for you. With my background in Sociology, I factor in cultural, racial, and societal influences and the barriers they may present in your life.
