I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Alabama who works with clients via telehealth. I work with couples, individuals, families, and adolescents. I specialize in anxiety, depression, stress management, work-life balance, women's issues, life transitions, and self-esteem while using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

This often takes the form of depression, anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, and work-life balance. I work to help my clients navigate these transition periods and to build skills.

My approach varies based on each client's needs. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to build a shared understanding of your reality and work together to chart a path forward.

My journey to mental healthcare

I decided to become a therapist because I have always wanted to help people. I have naturally been drawn to helping people through difficult times. I enjoy seeing individuals become the best versions of themselves.

My approach to goal setting is all about working together to define what you want to accomplish. This often starts by building trust and getting comfortable with what it means to be in therapy. Over time, we will work together to set goals and track your progress.

Our first session

What you can expect from our first session together is for us to spend the majority of our time talking about how you've been feeling recently, and me asking questions to better understand some of why you may be feeling that way. The first session is about building a therapeutic rapport with the clients as we build therapeutic goals.
