Hi there, I'm Leonard!

I specialize in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, depression, and anger management. I also specialize in Vocational Assessment and Career Counseling. I work to create a safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.

My focus

I work with veterans, adults, those with abandonment issues, attachment issues, Avoidant Personality, men's issues, forgiveness, infidelity, PTSD, panic attacks, self-harm, self-love, ADHD, workplace issues, social anxiety and phobia, hoarding, and panic attacks.

My approach

My approaches to therapy are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and primarily Client-Centered Therapy.

My communication style

I foster a relaxed environment. Although I am remote, my goal is to build rapport and make the client feel as comfortable as possible.

My journey to mental healthcare

I never felt like I had a voice growing up. My parents were nurturing, I felt like some of my friends and relatives favored my younger brother over me. Now, whether or not this is true, I chose this profession as a voice for the voiceless. I never want any of my clients to feel like they have no voice.

My goals for you

The client and I discuss the issues they are having, how willing they are to deal with their issues. I also guide them as we discuss the necessary goals in order to help deal with their issues.

Clients should expect a therapist who is genuine and who wears his heart on his sleeve. I view my clients as family. As a matter of fact, from intake and beyond we become family.
