My focus
If you're struggling with substance abuse or dependence, I'm the therapist for you! I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing mixed with Positive Psychology and a little bit of Reality Therapy to help you uncover the root cause of your substance abuse, and then we work together to resolve that.
My approach
My approach to providing care is very person-centered. The Golden Rule: "treat others the way you would want to be treated" is at the base of every interaction that I have. I would never ask a client to do something that I am not also willing to do. I also utilize Positive Psychology in everything that I do because I believe in finding the good.
