Hi there, I'm Ronald!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), but I am also certified in neuro-psychotherapy, and I have my doctorate in psychology as well. So, my approach to therapy is a little different than most therapists, and it is very effective.

My focus

I work with teens and adults struggling with depression and anxiety. My neurological approach has also been very successful in helping people with ADHD, PTSD, addictions, eating disorders, and grief.

My approach

Because I am trained in neurology as well as psychology, I treat a wide spectrum of problems using a specific treatment plan that I have devised.

My communication style

I am a firm believer in the use of visual and experiential learning. So, with each session, I will give you a complete printout of everything we will discuss during the session. By experiential, I am referring to "experiencing" what we talk about. For instance, I will be giving you 10 "Quick Coherence" exercises that we will do together.

My journey to mental healthcare

I continue doing therapy because I love helping people. That burning drive inside me wouldn't let me stop, so I keep doing what I'm passionate about.

My goals for you

I firmly believe that these goals should be developed in a discussion between the two of us. I will have some statistical goals that I will set for you, which will be measured by regular testing during our sessions.

Our first session

During our first session, we will get to know each other, and then I will explain my plan of treatment in more detail. I will also provide you with a printed handout that explains the different therapies that I use, and most importantly, why I use these therapies.
