I am glad you're here. I'm a therapist—and more importantly, a real person who genuinely wants to help. Reaching out isn't easy, but I'm so glad you did. I come from a clinical approach of Attachment Theory, whereby we will see how childhood issues have shaped who we are today.

I come from a clinical approach of Attachment Theory whereby we will see how childhood issues have shaped who we are today. We will work together from an emotional perspective as opposed to intellectualizing therapy.

My communication style

I am very direct, atypical and have no problem with self-disclosure when appropriate. I come from an intuitive perspective and believe that our issues are similar, with the primary difference being that my pain tolerance is probably less than yours.

My journey to mental healthcare

I believe in meeting you where you are and working from a place of genuine connection. Therapy is about understanding yourself more deeply and building the capacity to navigate life's challenges with greater ease and self-compassion.

My goals for you

My approach is vulnerability and authenticity. I don't offer strategies, given that they aren't effective long-term, nor do I focus on having you look in the mirror and tell yourself you love you! The three core issues all of us deal with are co-dependency, shame, and self-love.

Our first session

The first several sessions will be rapport building and you getting to know me and vice-versa. To work at an emotional level, it is critical we know who we are speaking with.
