Hi there, I'm Matthew!

I believe therapy is a partnership where client and therapist jointly work toward healing and relief. I aim to make starting therapy easy, straightforward, and enjoyable. I have experience in addressing anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, life transitions, trauma, and depression. I work with adults, adolescents, and children.

My focus

I have extensive experience working with adults and addressing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, as well as LGBTQ issues and transitions. I have specialized in working with adolescents and teens in addressing anxiety, panic, OCD, school issues, trauma, and parent/sibling relational issues.

My approach

My approach differs depending on the needs of the client. I often utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, elements of ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), and psychodynamic approaches. If you are not familiar with these terms, that is okay! I believe being able to adjust to the needs of the client leads to improved overall outcomes.
