Hi there, I'm Patti!
I believe everyone needs an outlet to vent and gain a better perspective. When we're invested, our best judgments are clouded. It's my job to shed light and help you gain a new perspective in whatever situation you're going through. I work with children, adolescents, individuals, and couples.
My focus
I enjoy working with all ages, particularly adults and couples. I value openness and honesty, and practice what I teach. I have training in trauma, eating disorders, and personality disorders. I will see couples, but if I see you as part of a couple, I will not see you individually.
My approach
I begin by building rapport. I want to know who you are, what your beliefs are, and your thoughts on your situation. I engage in talk therapy and move to a cognitive-behavioral approach. Everything starts with a thought. It's our place to learn to recognize any irrational thought and change it.
