I pride myself on making my services client-centered; I will help tailor my modalities to the personality and goals of each client who would like a better quality of life.

My focus

I have had great success working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma. My focus is more on individual therapy at this point. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish and can provide therapy in both languages.

My approach

I have certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Having a variety of certifications allows me to pull from the different modalities to tailor services to each unique client.

My communication style

Tone and environment are very important when seeking therapy. My communication style is very client-centered; the focus is to be able to communicate with you in a way that makes you feel safe and comfortable to share your life with me and problem-solve as a team how to meet goals.

My goals for you

Goal setting is very important to me in therapy. We will start with creating an overarching goal with realistic expectations of what you would look like. Every session, we will also review your week and create micro achievable goals that will help you accomplish your overarching goal.

Our first session

Our first session is more of a formal session where we will discuss family history, mental health history, trauma, and whatever other concerns you may have. Of course, your level of comfortability is of utmost importance, so if there is something you are not ready to share, I will be here throughout your sessions whenever you are ready to share.
