My communication style

The tone I create is compassionate, driven, and non-judgmental. I believe everyone inherently knows what is best for them, and I work together to discover what that is. I prioritize building good relationships to allow people to feel comfortable opening up and sharing parts of themselves that are not always easy to discuss.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am a first-generation Mexican-American. What attracted me to a career as a therapist was my genuine interest in being in a profession in which I can make a positive impact on people's lives. I use my own struggles, challenges, and personal and family experiences to drive my work in wanting to make a difference.

My goals for you

I approach setting goals collaboratively with people. I believe in self-determination and that everyone knows what is inherently important, as well as the areas that they want to improve.

Our first session

Clients should expect me to take some time to get to know them and identify some goals that they would like to achieve. I take some time to ask open-ended questions to get to know who they are and give them some space so they can ask and learn about me.
