In therapy, it's often said to do what works because patients often present with unique conditions that require special thought. I draw on my diverse experience treating adults, geriatrics, young adults experiencing first-break psychosis, and dually diagnosed individuals and their families to provide thoughtful, tailored treatment.
My focus
I work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of issues, including anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, divorce, domestic violence, grief, personality disorders, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress, and panic attacks.
My approach
Cognitive behavioral therapy is the foundation of my treatment, offering the best results with the adult population I treat. I also draw on my psycho-dynamic experience. I anticipate resistance and setbacks, believe in short-term treatment, and discourage dependence on me.
