Hi there, I'm Laura!
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and have been practicing for 5 years. I enjoy working with individual adults to help them increase self-awareness, realize their full potential and purpose, and heal from relationship or attachment trauma.
My focus
I love working with clients who are feeling stuck in certain patterns of relating and have often experienced childhood attachment issues or early family trauma. My clients often desire to become more in touch with their authentic selves, and to use that increased self-awareness as a springboard that motivates them to heal emotions.
My approach
I believe our attachment styles & early relationships can form certain dynamics within us that cause us to recreate those relationship patterns later in life with romantic partners, co-workers, family members, children, or friendships. Attachment style therapy involves you & I developing a strong empathic attunement in therapy.
