I consider empathy to be a verb and view the world as a series of unique interactions and experiences in which all behavior is communication. I am supportive and kind; my dry humor is famous. I work with people who feel alone, unseen, or unheard, helping them find their voice and strength.
My focus
I work with people experiencing challenges with self-esteem, shame, and anxiety. I also work with adults and teens who have a history of trauma, particularly around discrimination and isolation. Additionally, I help people who feel they have an unhealthy relationship with certain behaviors and want to create habits that stick.
My approach
My approach is client-centered and strengths-based. I pull from multiple theories to develop a unique set of interventions tailored to you. I utilize trauma-informed and trauma-focused work, incorporating elements from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
