My communication style

I use motivational interviewing, and unconditional positive regard as my approach to therapy. I believe everyone can benefit from therapy as a means of revealing your true and authentic self. I am spiritual, believe in past lives, and the magic of energy, thoughts and will.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was the oldest child of 11, seventh generation LDS (Mormon). I was also closeted lesbian. My journey was not the typical one and I was a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother for 25 years. My best strength lies in having lived a traumatized life. I obtained great skills at navigating life and can shine the light on your path.

My goals for you

I ask a lot of questions because I'm naturally curious. After getting a bird's eye view of you, in the first session, I will ask, "What are your goals for therapy?" Together we will come up with an answer. There may be difficult parts along the way; but it's all about getting the pain out of you and releasing your authentic joy.

Our first session

You should expect time to tell your story, feeling heard, seen and understood, like you've rarely been understood before. I will get you. I will meet you where you are at; wherever that is, and walk alongside of you as you learn to better navigate, and honor, your journey.
