My approach to therapy depends on your situation and needs. In general, I would begin with attentive listening or empathy immersion before beginning our approach to your therapeutic needs. Usually, this approach begins with a psychodynamic approach and leads to a CBT approach to help you create the desired change you are looking for.

My focus

I work with patients needing care for their mental health, including Psychosocial, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, obsessive-compulsive, substance abuse, dual-diagnosis, and psychotic disorders.

My approach

I offer therapy using a variety of treatment modalities such as CBT, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Existential Processing.

My communication style

My clients feel heard and understood. The tone of sessions is empathic and honest, and addresses specific problems and needs with a directness that is always beneficial to you and your recovery.

My journey to mental healthcare

It was suggested to me that I become a therapist. I am a great listener, a poet at heart, and a rational thinker. I see and feel beyond what is being said. I am emotionally immersive and believe that deep existential conversations are healing and are the ultimate salvation of our humanity.

In the first session, I listen, immerse myself in your story, and ask a few clarifying questions so that I am sure of my understanding of the issues you are bringing to therapy.
