Hi there, I'm Carol!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Los Angeles, and I work mostly with adults. I grew up in Belgium (French-speaking), where I earned a BA in Clinical Psychology and an MS in Criminology. I currently provide Telehealth Therapy services throughout the state of California, in English and French.

My focus

My expertise is best suited for functioning adults, struggling with life stressors and transitions (personal, relationships, family, and career) that can be translated into depression, anxiety, social media/internet addiction, and personality disorders. I also specialize in DV/IPV (Interpersonal Violence), Trauma, and PTSD.

My approach

My main approach is Person/Client-Centered (PCT) while maintaining a Psycho-Dynamic therapy style. I also use modern therapeutic modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT/ CBT-Trauma Focused), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to meet the needs and goals of each client.
