I focus on working with adult women struggling with anxiety or relationship distress. I use a compassionate approach, providing a safe space where clients can experience the healing power of grace, empathy, and validation.

I work with adult women struggling with anxiety, problems in relationships, adjustment disorders, PTSD, difficult life transitions, or the pressure of perfectionism.

My approach

I believe all behavior makes sense when understanding the larger context of emotions and attachment. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy and Attachment Theory to understand the unmet needs our emotions communicate and the relational patterns we get stuck in, then empower clients to find new ways to satisfy those needs.

My communication style

My communication style is one of compassion, understanding, validation, empathy, and grace. My hope is for all clients to feel heard, deeply understood, and accepted while in session with me and to allow that feeling of acceptance to transform the way they see themselves and interact with others.

My journey to mental healthcare

I transitioned to becoming a therapist after a career in business. I longed for a career with a greater sense of purpose and felt a calling to this field. This life transition has been incredibly challenging and rewarding, and I want to be here for you so you don't have to go through your struggles alone.

I can create a safe space to explore together and identify clear and specific goals. This time is for you and will be focused on what is most meaningful to you.

Our first session

The first session will be a little different as I'll be asking questions to get to know you and your goals for our work together. Of course, it takes time to build trust, and there is no obligation to answer any of my questions. I will approach the first session with my compassionate tone to begin building our working relationship from day one.
