I work with individuals, children, teens, adults, couples, and families. My approach is client-centered—I meet you exactly where you are, helping you gain perspective and take back control of your life. There is no judgment. You will be welcomed and supported throughout your therapy journey.

My focus

I work with clients facing depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral problems, child abuse and neglect, sexual abuse, trauma, human trafficking, and domestic violence. I support corrections populations, child services, LGBTQ+ individuals, children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

I use integrative therapy, combining techniques based on your specific needs and preferences. I commonly draw from client-centered, multicultural, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, and positive psychology to help you lead a more meaningful, resilient life.

My communication style

Sessions are warm, friendly, and practical. I'm easygoing but can be direct and firm when needed. I genuinely care about your well-being. You can express yourself freely without judgment, mockery, or rejection. I listen and help you see many sides of a situation and the options available to make positive changes.

At the initial session, I ask you to start thinking about goals you currently have or want to initiate. Setting short or long-term goals helps with motivation and tracking progress. You prioritize what you want to work on with my guidance. Your safety and stabilization are always the priority.

Your first session is an introduction. I gather background, personal history, and current symptoms or stressors to get a clear picture. I go at your preferred pace, considering your comfort level and the fact that this is your first time meeting and talking with me.
