My communication style

I create a tone of one who is easy for them to talk to. I am attentive, very interested in who they are and where they are at, and especially what they want out of therapy. I emit the attitude that they truly have the answers, and I am a supporter of them to develop their own solutions utilizing their strengths and abilities.

My journey to mental healthcare

I started in education, then moved into private practice, parenting groups, and teletherapy work. My experience spans working with children, families, and adults in various settings.

My goals for you

I ask them to narrow down what their best hopes are, and the difference it would make in their lives to have those best hopes become a true reality in their everyday life.

Our first session

I am interested in what they would like to achieve in therapy, and that the focus is more on what they want rather than what they no longer want. I want them to have an initial snapshot of what their life would be like if their life were better.
