My communication style

My style is warm, direct, and down-to-earth. I'll ask thoughtful questions, reflect what I hear, and point out patterns you may not notice. I'll challenge you when you're stuck, but always respectfully and collaboratively. I also use humor when it fits—sometimes laughter makes heavy things easier to face.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey is rooted in lived experience. I've had seasons of shame and guilt because I didn't understand my behavior—I only judged it. Having a trusted other create space for honesty and curiosity instead of criticism made the difference. Those moments lit a fire in me to offer that same space for others.

My goals for you

I see goals as something we create together—not a checklist, but a roadmap that keeps us focused. Reaching goals is about building lasting change: learning to recognize emotions before they spiral, practicing new ways of responding in relationships, or letting go of old survival roles that keep you stuck.

Your first session is about helping you feel at ease. I'll invite you to share what's bringing you in—both what you say and what's harder to put into words. I pay attention to your story and the pauses, emotions, and patterns beneath the surface. It's not about solutions—it's about beginning a relationship.
