Hi there, I'm Ellie!

I work with clients who experience anxiety, depression, stress, and chronic mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. My approach is client-centered, and I believe the therapeutic relationship is essential to success in therapy.

I work with adults addressing attachment and abandonment issues from childhood, relationship difficulties, career challenges, communication issues, loneliness, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, work issues, stress management, and life transitions.

I integrate therapeutic techniques specifically tailored to your needs while providing a compassionate and safe space to promote healing. Depending on your goals, I use inner child techniques, psychodynamic, experiential, CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, solution-focused, and positive therapy techniques.

My communication style

I view the therapist-client relationship as sacred and treat my clients with respect, sensitivity, and unconditional positive regard. Validation and empathy are necessary parts of the therapeutic process. I help empower you to be the expert in your own life; I'm the tour guide, but this is your journey.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was inspired early on to help others feel loved and valued, especially those who may not have experienced healthy attachments in childhood. Being a therapist is more than a job to me, it's a calling. My clients often report that they feel genuinely cared about and validated.

During our first session, we'll discuss how you've been feeling lately and I'll ask questions to better understand your history so we can work together on a treatment plan. This first session helps us build that initial connection and get a sense of what might work best for your needs.
