The monotony feels alienating, affecting your relationships, your job, and how you view yourself. Within you is a desire to discover an authentic and passionate journey. Now is the time to start.

My focus

I work with people who feel stuck; when it feels like nothing can change, or you shame yourself for knowing what you should change but can't. You feel broken, left behind, or that it's too late. I help you see that you've always been on the path, marching at your own pace on a journey never tread before.

My approach

I work to highlight your existing strengths to craft a less problematic, uniquely exceptional, and authentic story about yourself. Whether managing anxiety, finding your voice, or managing conflict, I'll map out the ways your story has held you back and collaborate to write a new narrative.

My communication style

I have a conversational approach where I treat you as the expert on yourself. I'm here to make observations and ask questions about what I'm noticing in a way that is curious, not judgmental. Vulnerability is the key to connection, and I aim to help you feel safe while exploring that vulnerability.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was once at my crossroads, trying to figure out my next steps. Instead of asking myself, "What should I do?" I asked, "How do I want to feel at the end of the day?" I'm a writer and I love hearing stories. My answer was that I want to be curious and use that curiosity to help others. So here I am.

My goals for you

This is a collaborative process. You may walk in with a very specific goal in mind, or you may have nothing more than "I don't want to feel like this anymore." Either way, I aim to help get to the root cause of your anxieties and fears so that you can flesh out what your true aims are. Goals change, and we can always adjust.

Our first session

The first session or two is about building rapport, feeling safe, and getting to know one another. We'll start to get a vision of what working together will be like and establish some goals for our time together. If it's your first time in therapy, it's understandable to be nervous. I'm here to help you feel comfortable and supported.
