My communication style

My communication style is warm, accepting, calm, personable, and supportive. There will be times when I utilize humor and challenge you to help you grow. I strive to provide an accepting environment where you can be your true self without fear of judgment or critique.

My journey to mental healthcare

I decided to become a therapist after hearing stories of individuals rehabilitating and growing, which led to my belief that everyone is capable of healing. I wanted a career where I could be part of someone's healing journey and create a space for them to feel capable and supported.

My goals for you

Your voice and choice are the number one factor when it comes to setting goals. I collaborate with you to create a larger therapeutic goal that we break down into smaller, achievable steps, while celebrating both the small and big wins along the therapeutic journey.

Our first session

In the first session, we will focus on building rapport and getting to know each other. We will review the assessment and begin creating goals. I will check in with how you are doing and aim to make it a safe and comfortable environment. We will collaborate on creating a treatment plan and identifying where we want to start.
