I work with individuals. I understand how tough life can get. Before I became a therapist, I went through my own challenges — unhoused, unemployed, and struggling with substance use. Getting sober and working my way through college wasn’t easy, but it shaped the way I show up for others now: with understanding, patience, and zero judgment.
My focus
I am comfortable working with clients who are open to change and improving their daily lives by using the techniques offered in sessions.
My approach
I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. Sometimes we have to let go of negative thoughts and replace them with healthy ones. I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques to encourage clients to make positive changes. I use Solution Focused to encourage clients to focus on their strengths and solutions rather than the problem.
