I am a Certified School Psychologist. My approach to therapy is casual and comfortable. The therapeutic alliance is the most important thing regarding therapy, and I would love for you to come to therapy authentic to who you are. "Therapy is like a massage but for your brain." MS, LMFT.
My focus
I have met with a variety of clients with many different backgrounds and needs, but the most common diagnoses I have worked with include anxiety, ADHD, and depression. Having worked in the school system for years, I have worked with numerous children and teenagers.
My approach
Though trained in many theoretical approaches, I prefer to use a combination of modalities with my clients. I do not see clients as a "one size fits all" and choose to model my therapy sessions around the client and their needs. Some of the most popular approaches used are psychodynamic, CBT, Positive Psychology, and person-centered.
