Hi there, I'm Miriam!
I'm a compassionate therapist who works with children, teens, and young adults to help them navigate life's challenges in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and empowering, whether someone is struggling with anxiety, depression, challenging relationships, or developmental transitions.
My focus
I see kids, adolescents and young adults ONLY, I do not see over age 25. I support my younger clients through expressive play, naming and exploring their emotions, and teaching age-appropriate coping skills. My adolescent and young adult focus is on managing big emotions, teaching how anxiety works, skill-building, and problem-solving.
My approach
My approach is open and honest; I am warm and nurturing while at the same time, I'm not afraid to be direct--I'm all about teaching kids the ability to problem solve and build skills.
